Max Secure Internet Security Setup Guide: Install, Configure, and Optimize

Before you start

  • Account & key: Have your activation code or vendor account credentials ready.
  • Backups: Back up important files and close other security apps (uninstall conflicting antivirus).

1. Download & install

  1. Sign in to the vendor site (or enter your activation page) and download the Internet Security installer for your OS.
  2. Run the installer (Windows: double-click .exe and choose “Run as administrator”; Mac: open .dmg and run the installer).
  3. Accept the license and prompts. When asked, enter the activation code or sign in to your account to activate.
  4. Restart the device if the installer prompts you to.

2. Initial configuration

  1. Open the Max Secure console. Confirm status shows Protected or equivalent.
  2. Run a full system scan immediately to catch existing threats.
